Woke early this A.M. and at first stop went around to see how Maria was makeing it. She was all right & couple of stations later we got all the stuff in my 3rd class car Got some coffee a little latter and with our bread & chocolate lasted till noon when I got some fruit and a little later got a good dinner at a small place, a little later we got sight of the Mediterranean Sea away below us, under a beautiful grey sky with a white city spread out around a pretty harbor & foothills [[crazing]] down to it. We ran along through charming country, little later the sun came out the sea got very very blue and we kept it in sight almost continually to Barcelona arrived at 5 P.M. Got to hotel just back from the harbor went out & saw the sun set and moon come up. Short walk after dinner. Bed.
