One of them started a fire. I dragged up the firewood, dug a trench, their being a long slope above us and got water. Mrs. M. recovered and made the tent more secure and laid out the beds - she certainly is an experienced camper. It began to drizzle and we shed our wet clothes - after I had a glorious fire going in the lee of the boulder - ate more bread and chicken and the last of the candied fruit. It was dark by that time. It began to
