"talk" continuously as they fly.  It waked ^[[insertion]] me [[/insertion]] in the early morning and I'd get up to watch them. [[insertion]] The flight is short rapid and appears labored. [[/insertion]] In the evening they passed so low sometimes that I could see them plainly. They are the green of Mr. Maxon's Loreta and very like her, so far as I could see. Mr. Maxwell says these are the ones commonly caught for sale being good talkers. There are parrokeets in the country too, but I only saw them captive.
