Dear Prof Hitchcock,
The Itatiaia trip didn't materialize.  I may have written you that Dona Maria Baudeira's mother died in January.  She was in Petropolis when I got back and I didn't see her till Sat. evening.  She sails for Europe tomorrow, so there was no chance for a trip together.  I went to [[Furuas Agarsig?]] beyond Gavea here in the hopes of finding one of Meg's Panicuus we haven't identified, described from there.
