[[Dear?]] Sadie

When I had finished your letter it was about 7-45 P.M. I then had some strawberry shortcake which satisfied my stomach & some Hortons Ice Cream which cooled my fevered brow. I then tried the same old stamp machine with nickel for two stamps but it didn't work = the clerk refunded the nick' & I got two stamps at druggist at regular price. On Wed: I got up at 6 o'c' made breakfast of Bananas & answered a feeling without the aid of a hose - at 8-30 took car for Art Museum in Park but found it did not open until 10 o 'c walked from there 82nd St to 59th where the mangerie is - Met a policeman & other people. Saw a young woman changing her kid on a bench- a few squirrels - quite tame - ran about Enjoying the warm Sun & cool shades.

Transcription Notes:
t's are not crossed all of the time. Words beginning with T often have the letter above the rest of the letters in the word.
