and I set off up to Highgate to draw the villa and tomb. After a cold but pleasant walk, we reached the villas, but found it out of the question to sit and draw,so we made a quick sketch, and then went over to the cemetary, where we found that we could not be admitted with any parcels, or to draw, without permission of the clerk at the main entrance. Here we went & being granted the necessary permit, proceeded to a fine terrace back of the church, where we stood for some time in its shelter, and warming our selves in the sun, enjoying the while, a fine prospect of London. made our meal on some bread and two apples. We reached home about three o-clock. When I had got a little warmed, I went with Lilly and Emily Turner, Mrs. Turner's niece, who lives with her, to take a walk in the park. We got some chestnuts, an orange and some apples so we had a very pleasant time. When we got home we found that father had returned from his visit to the Dul gallery, where hed spent the day.

Sunday Nov. 30th. It being a fine morning we all set off up to Hampstead Heath. We had a very pleasant walk, and father pointed out to mother and Lill any pretty feature we had noticed the Sunday previous, and having more time we went further and had a good view to the North West. About twelve o-clock we started for home, which we reached after a brisk walk.
