Snow & wind 16 above zero.  A started "An Orange Grove in California."  I painted artificial flowers & calico.  Both worked till too dark.  Bill Tap. told us tug was coming - the Hempstead - crashed the ice.  A photograped it, it gave a tide table - A gave bottle wine - offered 25$ first man tossed it back, when he saw wine said "O Keal's different."  Cap. Osterhouse got boisterous in Scranton & is in the jug."

Wea.     WEDNESDAY 12     Ther.
Both painted on some things.  I to Huntington. brought back chop suey  
Cap Darling in.

Painting - A to Huntington - brought back Fire Bird records - Strawvinsky - played them late in P.M. quite beautiful.  A to club house for things.  [[strikethrough]] Cap darling in. [[/strikethrough]]

Both painting - A finished and framed "An Orange Grove in Cal."  I scraped flowers out.  I to Huntington to movie.  A framed "Gershwin" with spring.  Tel. from Mother at Chubs, I over & telephoned her, to meet in N.Y. Sat.  A telephoned Steinmetz & Montross for paints, varnish & words.  Letters from mothers.
