Out to Lloyds Harbor, quite rough, Took off awning, aired  mattresses + covers. Walked on beach, rowed, swam, lunch. A scrubbed long grass off both boats. I had bad indigestion in P.M. took soda + water + threw up. to ned early. Back to Halesite at 5. Letter from Kathleen Eddy.

A painting -Abstract thing in ochre + wine color.
I cleaning galley dept.
I to Huntington- marketed.
Buck + his father stopped + I in Mr Bucks' little sail boat + A in Bucks, they lead race to black buoy-Buck won.

Wea. Sun. Sept. 18, 1927 Ther.
I cold in bones lying down most of day.
Holly, Hank, + Rowena here in afternoon getting things off their boat. we down there, they didn't stop here
Wea. Monday 19 Ther.
I rowed to other side of parlor + made drawing of Whitney Scudder's shack. A drawing. Van Wyck + Lucky his dog her for an hour.
Thunder storm in afternoon- had talk about painting.
