THURSDAY - 18 
A wrote letters most of day.  Replied to Duncan Phillips about painting, to Mr Rapp, Charles & his Family.  I painted on Net.
Marion here - we bought dink $50.00  Jimmie in mid-record - "Prisoners Song  A. & J. with Marion to see boats he built   J. back to lunch with A.

FRIDAY - 19 
Both worked on dinks  painted bottoms of new & old.  Nice to work out doors.

MARCH
SATURDAY - 20 
Both to Huntington. A bought fine black felt hat, & blue serge trousers, had them altered - took up most of morning.  Marketed.  Back to boat, lunch, & odds & ends.

SUNDAY - 21
Delicious spring weather.  Cleaned boat.  Early in P.M. Sam, Neely, Julia, George [[Watts ?]], Chub & Douglas came. All to look at boats at Abrams and Chutes.  Back to our boat for a drink.  Others left at 4.30 for date in N.Y.  C. & D. here a little longer.  We had dinner, read & to bed.  A wrote to Marion asking price of dink for Doug. & sending letter of "recommendation" on our new boat.
