SATURDAY-3
I ironed & sewed.  A, Jimmie & S shoved logs under boat, gotten from Taphouse's "Wafes."[[?]]  I to store, back & Jim Atkins here with another job for A.  I to Huntington in their car.  Hard rain - later big thunder storm.  Letters from chub with Mary's enclosed, & Raleigh.

SUNDAY-4
A up early caulking, John didn't come  I up late, cleaned up & got dinner  had it early.  In P.M. Chub, Douglas, Caroline, & Eleanor Winters here.

MONDAY-5
Still really cold.  A burnt off cock pit & caulked.  I painted most of day on "Net."

TUESDAY-6
A to Chub's boatyard & got can of bottom paint.  I painted morning & P.M. till 3.30 on "Net," & now really like it.  I walked to Huntington to get curtain stuff & look up window for A.  Both upset over hanging of Chapman.
