A up early & got breakfast for all, then to Halesite in "Johnson," S washed pajamas & had first [[underlined]] Swim [[/underlined]], cold but very nice. Put mooring down on [[underlined]] chain [[/underlined]] but got it up. O.K. Back to Halsite late in afternoon.
Got papers etc.

Washed & did chores.

A to N.Y. went to about 11 places, got Life joke & job from McClures, both promising regular work if we go South.
I to Huntington in A.M. Cleaned A's pants & shoes, finished blue dress almost.

Finished blue dress.
A doing chores around boat. 
Went down & put more chain on mooring. Back to Halesite, & the Freya in soon. Raleigh up, he & A to Tony's [[strikethrough]] 1 gal.[[/strikethrough]] I to Huntington. Sent Holly who was sick some cakes. Holly & R up in evening.
