JUNE
TUESDAY-22
Windy.  Up early, A to N.Y. on early train.  I to Huntington, cleaned boat, don't feel well.  A back at 20 minutes of six, got story from Scribners, another from McClures, saw New Yorkers - they said they wanted him to work for them & would wait.  Saw Colliers, Pic. R. & several others.  Brought one Dunhill cigarette & magazines.  To bed early.  [[entry in left margin of page]]  A called Davidsons found Steiglitz in Mt. Zion hospital - gall stones we went to see him but he was sleeping, so left note. [[/entry in left margin of page]]

WEDNESDAY-23
Up & read McClures story.  A wrote to Bill & Florence & mailed in Huntington.  [[strikethrough]] A marketed & me down to lower mooring. [[/strikethrough]]  I wrote to Mother, returned Mary's letter.  Wrote for apt. with dentist.  Wrote note to Chub.

Worked on McClures story  Went down to lower mooring.  [[strikethrough]] A caught b [[/strikethrough]]  Had a swim & went ashore, A getting clams, I wood.

FRIDAY-25
I drew pine tree for story - A up with Johnson for mail etc.  Back to Halesite in evening, rain.
