I painted roof & hull Ironing in afternoon and A to Tonys - 1 gal. A also got eggs & vegs. & pickles at place across river & brought big bunch of dahlias from Louisa. [[end page]] [[start page]] SEPTEMBER TUESDAY-28 A out looking about place again. I mended rain coat. A & I to Huntington, sent carton of Chesterfields to Clive for birthday, A got Zinc. Both to look at other side of harbor after lunch, decided to stay at old dock. Letter to A from Florence. Velvet curtains came from Rowena Ray. WEDNESDAY-29 A arranging for old dock & doing this & that. A letter from Chub & Mary. I painted on roof & hill, finished white flower. Ironed. Pretty tired by night.
