[[preprinted]] OCTOBER WEDNESDAY-20 [[/preprinted]] Rain. I doing odds & ends posed a little. A still on P.R. drawing. A's Cold better. I wrote long letter to Mother & one to Robert. A finished Pictoral R. drawing - we can't believe it. A wrote to his mother & Paul, another of those letters! [[preprinted]] THURSDAY- 21 [[/preprinted]] A mailed letters & package to Mother. Both to [[?]] boat, put oil on [[deck?]], Got carpet & grey coat - ripped up latter & washed & ironed it. In afternoon cleaned up boat, A mounted drawing, put carpet down, & I to Paulings & got corn apples & squash, A digging bed for boat. [[end page]] [[start page]] [[preprinted]] OCTOBER FRIDAY-22 [[/preprinted]] A started other P.R. drawing, I washed. Read about - & written by - Queen Marie. Both over to P.O. & store in P.M. In evening I posed & A drew woman by lamp light. [[preprinted]] SATURDAY 23 [[/preprinted]] Cleaned boat, A & I to Huntington, returned books to Library, to lunch at Chinese restaurant - liked it - tea most fragrant. Then A bought pair blue flannel trousers, left others to be dry cleaned, will be done Thursday. Walked part way up & part way down when Spense gave us a lift. Late in afternoon both over to store & got makings for [[Comerse?]] wine. To P.O. letter from Mother - a nice one.
