A to Huntington early, got food & deposited check. I finished reading story & looked up stuff on tin boat. A has pain in side. Milk toast for lunch. A drawing, I posing some.
I wrote to Chub thanking her for sending coat.

A to Huntington early, marketed & deposited $60 check from Life.
I cleaned up boat.
A worked on drawings I posed.

Working & posing. Chub, D.C. & E Winter here for an hour in afternoon.
Afterwards A worked -

A working on drawings, I feeling very bum. Mr. Scudder in, saying he owed A. an apology, - a lovely man. A finished drawings of horses - we rushed, rushed, rushed, & got them all mounted & mailed by 4'oclock - what a relief!
A to Huntington at 4.09 with Mr Cushing who introduced him at cor. drug store & A got gal of swell gin.
