November Saturday - 13 I to Huntington, got laundry & marketed etc. In afternoon stuffed & cooked chicken. Both to Ralstons for more supplies. Sunday - 14 A up early & finished drawings & matted them. I cleaned up boat + had table set when mother & Blacks "man & boy" came about 1. A dashed to Herbs & got presents for all - qrt. of scallops for Mother. Everyone said best chicken they ever ate. had some of new wine. For a drive down to harbor - quite lovely roads & sights. Back to mother little while. I showed [[?]] and [[Charles ?]] some paintings. [[end page]] [[start page]] November Monday - 15 Packed & mailed mule drawings to Youths Companion. A talking about Electric lights round about. A to Huntington in afternoon mailed check to Bill, wrote to Youths Companion - Telephoned for Ill. board & brushes. [[underscored]] Started new wine [[/underscored]] Tuesday - 16 Another drawing wanted for Everybodys. A did it in morning & mailed at 4. P.M. I washed hair. Rain in afternoon both tired & took naps. I telephoned mother in morning, she said Sunday had put "peace in her soul."
