NOVEMBER
         WEDNESDAY-17
A called up early & Alfy said he'd be right down. I fixed boat & to Huntington getting on car bringing Alfy. He brought us bottle of "arac" - A doesn't think so. A's congestion in face bothering him. Alfy also brought [[swell?]] ivory palette knife. A very nice day, Alfy left. on 7.22 train & we early to bed. 
Thursday - 18
Letter from Youths Companion saying they liked drawings very much. A to Huntington early to see Electric light people. Said they'd be done. A got Larry Newtons batteries & sent for man to charge them.

Friday - 19
A making on drawings. Batteries back. I to Huntington.
Letter from Alfy.
Saturday - 20
A connected batteries. In P.M. Dorothy called up that she & Clive would be down Sunday. A & I walked to Huntington late & marketed. Explain Newton in for about hour in P.M. very pleased with - check for batteries. John over to bring telephone call -
