[[strikethrough]] posed in even [[/strikethrough]] About 4 P.M. A came in & said "the lights should go on any minute" - and lo! they were on! A great difference is enjoyed by us. Posed in eve. & A drew on darned old Pic. story. [[preprinted]] TUESDAY-30 [[/preprinted]] A working on drawing. Called up ed. of Pic. R. & got until next Monday at latest for story. Mailed back brushes [[underlined]] to Montross [[/underlined]]. Water color ones sent by mistake. I doing chores & writing up diary. Posed in P.M. & A drawing. [[end page]] [[start page]] [[preprinted]] DECEMBER WEDNESDAY-1 [[/preprinted]] Letter from Alfy about "arac." I sewing on black dress, A doing drawings. I posed all afternoon by electric light - second drawing quite well along. A had nice letter from his mother in evening mail. After supper A did handsome spirited "music" with almost everything in sight to Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue." [[preprinted]] THURSDAY-2 [[/preprinted]] [[underlined]] First snow. [[/underlined]] I sewed on black, A working on drawing. A got electric iron for $2.98 at Raulstons. Check from Youths Companion for 75.00
