DECEMBER 
TUESDAY-7
Walked to Huntington looked for warm shoes.  Tony drove us down came in & stayed for an hour, gave him some chinee cheese.  Sent order to L.L. Bean for shoes & inner soles, & sweat shirt.  Then man in with stockings - ordered 2 prs. silk & wool & one under pair.

Barometer up to 30.90

WEDNESDAY-8
Rain.  A started "Sewing Machine"  it's magnificent.  I wrote to Mary & sent 5.00 check for Christmas.  also to Mother - sent adv. of Neely's book, & wine recepie.  Wrote to Caroline & put in comics.  Wrote to Chub.

Today Barometer dropped to 30.20

DECEMBER
THURSDAY-9
Both gave the boat a thorough overhauling, it had got so cluttered - took things to his boat & clubhouse closet.

FRIDAY-10
Both to Huntington - got presents for Edith & Torr children.  In afternoon A to Taphouse's sloop & made coal shovel & poker for Hank & Holly, but weight them too heavy.  In eving A had hard cough.
