FEBRUARY 15 Friday.
Arthur and I to Stamford - deposited check from [[underlined]] Pic Review, [[/underlined]] I got little [[insertion]] yellow [[/insertion]] book of note paper & cerese diary for Holly.  Went to Mont. Wards got crepe for blouse, stockings, black oil cloth to paint on.  Then down around docks and Clappam Point.  Back and called up Holly, she much better.  Arthur took nap, I a few chores.  Both down to boat, Arthur bailed it out.  Then to P.O. got letter from A's mother.  Mailed pck. to Holly.
Arthur called up Bill, had a good talk.
Later Arthur called up Dorothy McClure.
We talked - "Mother's instinct and all the controls".
I writing up Diary, A napping again.

Saturday (S) FEBRUARY 16
I up late - Arthur to Noroton marketing.  Not much done.
