Arthur to Stamford for copper frames be ordered - $9.50.  I cleaned up a bit & out walking on beach from 10 to 11. Arthur back and made list of paintings, I measuring for sizes & getting things out, & wrote letter to Stieglitz-.

Thursday FEBRUARY 28
Dorothy McClure called up asking us to dinner Sat.
Arthur painting on "Distraction."  I started one of  nicotina flowers.  McCoys called up asking us there to dinner - asked them to come here instead.
They did, bringing chops, pie & cake, here till 12.
Neely said of Distraction "It's as if you were having a [[underline]] grand [[/underline]] time out doors & were called in to wash your face & brush your teeth."
They both liked black sun best.
