Odds & ends. Cleaning boat.
Arthur telephoned Stieglitz who said he had things to tell him.
I telephoned Hilders asking them for Sat. eve. - Can't come.

Saturday MAY 18
Up early & to station. Man killed trying to board train we were on.
Took taxi to 303 Stieglitz there. Duncan Phillips kept none of paintings, didn't understand Silver dog or Distraction, got to like Red Tree as he packed to return it.  A Mr. Goldsmith - on the other hand bought 3 - The Silver Log - Wilow - & King Fisher.  $400. saw them being packed.
Noler had tacked back on March-April with terrific results - all pastel fallen off - Mrs. Norman now has pastel - Horses.
Saw some grand Marins, a Peggy Bacon & snooped around. Lunch with Stieglitz, - walked back with him then made train in 1 minute.
Marketed in Stamford for over Sun. Quite tired.
