Before we'd finished Irene, Jim and Sandy came in. Around six there was a scuffling noise, "Any body home", and the Willis' and Goulays, also Willis' deaf maid came largely up- Dr Willis with his black bag - out of which came red wine, "sauterne", & brandy - Out of every one (but me & maid) came singing, piano playing & dancing. Jim acquired an unexpected funny bun. Was really refreshing. The Gs + Ws left about 8.30, [[insert]] P.M. [[/insert]] the McGlones at 7.30 Mon morning
