April 10
Really Spring Friday.
I called Terry - asking about letter from mother. I wrote to Mother, and Mrs Dove - Arthur wrote to his mother & Paul. In afternoon both to Huntington 3 times, I said when we ran about the roads fast it gave us the illusion of doing something fast. Arthur said; "Thats just it, thats what every body's doing." Arthur thought his gray hat had been stolen from row boat, so we got him a lovely smoke grey, later in P.M. he looked down & said theres my hat, fetched it, & scrubbed it.
