[[preprinted]] American Red Cross [[/preprinted]]

Kunsan, Korea
Dec. 7, 1945

Dear Philip:

Received your letter and to it were attached the endorsements of a multitude of officers under whose command I've been since changing from APO 11770.

That letter of yours requesting my whereabouts certainly made the circles and I'm sure if you had known how much trouble it meant for some people you wouldn't have done that.

Now don't get me wrong Phil and think I didn't want to hear from you - or that I didn't want to write to you either. I've moved around so damn much during the past months and so fast that it's hard to believe.
