June 19[[superscript]] th [[/superscript]] 1863;

Received of P.A. Mitchell Twenty One Hundred Dollars in payment for one negro boy, named "Wilson" black complexion, aged thirteen years, which I have this day sold to said Mitchell for the above consideration as I warrant said boy Wilson to be sound healthy & sensible & a Slave for life & also the title good.
