In the afternoon we rowed around. Down and picked up mooring Arthur put down as marker.
As we came back Bill Pratt, Helen, Frank Pratt, Mrs. P. & Cat lady friend here in the Josephine. Fed them ice cream -

Monday - OCTOBER 13
Quoted from a letter from Arthur to Stieglitz.
"Love may be the path to light. There is no absolute proof. Any way we keep on going to find often that we are passing a tree that we marked some years back. These moving circles in which we walk are what we call work and thought."
Arthur worked on "Swinging in the Park." A letter, with 50, from his Ma. Sent telegram to Paul about Bill. I cleaned & thised & thated.
