Sunday MARCH 19 Rain, snow -
In N.Y. Both up at 7. Arthur down to hotel for Stieglitz. I cleaned up things, left note to L. & L. & went to Gallery. Arthur had frame work for shelf up. Cary Ross there - All worked on place till 2 o'clock when Stieglitz came. He was delighted, said we had better go out to lunch which we did. I called Davidsons up, D. came down, brought me artics & umbrella. Tried to call O'Keefe but she was asleep.
Stieglitz said that shelf affair was the finest Xmas tree he ever had!
We came home on 6.11 train - Very cold but fire still in big stove.
