I in bed till afternoon - many aches - cold.

Mr. Bennins here, wants 5 or six tons hay.

Five letters from Bill & Marion. Marion doing things in wood - carving them. I better - but not too well. [[arrow down]]

Arthur did good water color from yard, "other farm" & group of trees.

Final guest room, at 5, a telegraph from Walter saying he'd be here between 6 & 7> [[arrow down]]
I did ^[[colored]] ink thing of garden. Wallenbachs & Paul here - a wrangle about land. Walter here at 8.15.
