  Wednesday 26th June John and nan still in town.  Gertie plans to take Ern & Nan down to New Haven in her car.  Lily stays over and John plans to go visit the Brittons in Willimantic.

  Thursday 27th June  begin woodcut of portrait of President Wilson.  Furyk stops in to Joe's and looks well.  Says he like my little nudes cut in wood.  "I don't know what they mean but they have beautiful movement."

  Friday 28 June   wood cut of portrait of W. Wilson  Harold Green calls while I'm out Ern says he's applying for the Cathedral Organ.

  Saturday 29 June  Woodcut large block  very difficult to prove.  Joe gets some ink from [[?]] at the "Globe" office.  Furyk comes in & likes idea of an exhibition in his place.  I agreeable to it.  Furyk likes my own portrait standing with brush & blue shirt & white trousers.  Says "Don't paint it over.  Very valuable, keep it."
