Club to meet Toch and Dr. Allen of Gen. Chemical Co to agree on report of committee regarding cooperation of Universities and Industries. Then at 3 P.M meeting at [[red underline]] Royal Baking [[/red underline]] Powder Co with Geary, Porter, Whittier, Paulus and Peter in relation to [[red underline]] report of of Paulus [[/red underline]] and Whittier as to [[red underline]] available properties for plant in Virginia. Geary prefers to [[red underline]] postpone further action [[/red underline]] on surveys or further examination of title of land and coal mines till we are further advanced. As a matter of principle he prefers not to make provision for mining our own coal but to purchase it [[red underline]] in open market. [[/red underline]]

Told to [[red underline]] Albert [[/red underline]] that in order to avoid further discussions about uniforms or chauffeur clothing I shall allow him $25.00 every [[red underline]] 6 months for clothes [[/red underline]] shoes etc. he to [[strikethrough]] furnish [[/strikethrough]] buy the necessary things so as to be suitably dressed when on duty.
