July 10. Dictating all day.
Evening went to movies with Celine, Nina, Mrs and Miss Middlebrook and Mrs. Sarton.
July 11. Sultry unpleasant sticky weather. House of representatives [[red underlined]] has passed tariff bill without amendments - [[/red underlined]] rushed it through [[strikethrough]] no [[/strikethrough]]
Afternoon went to Brooklyn. [[red underlined]] Paulus and Heydenhayn [[/red underlined]] are at loggerheads

[[red underlined]] I feel very foolish to have to give so much attention to other men's troubles when I have no time to attend to my own affairs.
