[[underlined in red]] Hewitt [[/underlined in red]]  criticizes fact that valves in motor are such as to require complete removal of cylinders in case of grinding but [[underlined in red]] Kettering [[/underlined in red]] says this is necessary for lightness of engine.
At [[underlined in red]] Orville Wrights [[/underlined in red]] house Miss [[underlined in red]] Catherine Wright received us.  She is a bright, tactful pleasant woman of medium height, blue intelligent eyes and greyish hair. Dressed simply but tastefully. [[/underlined in red]] House

is a large white house with columns, colonial style. Orville [[underlined in red]] Wright is as shy as ever while his sister takes care of the guests. [[/underlined in red]]
Luncheon well served and well prepared. [[underlined in red]] Lord Northcliffe [[/underlined in red]] sat at right of [[underlined in red]] Miss Wright and Governor Cox [[/underlined in red]] of Ohio on her left, and I sat [[underlined in red]] on right of Northcliffe [[/underlined in red]] so later on when he left I [[underlined in red]] sat next to her and could talk with her. I have no doubt that her tact and ready wit must have helped her brothers very much at the time when they were in Europe and received and feasted by so [[/underlined in red]] many important persons. - She tells me that one day she found her brother [[underlined in red]] Orville "Orv" [[/underlined in red]] as she calls him sitting before an open fire in London and [[underlined in red]] burning letters which he did not want to answer.
