[[/red underline]] Then again a jerk but on examination [[strike-through]] fis [[/strike-through]] hook and spoon had disappeared; probably big fish had eaten the hooked fish. Later on [[ red underline]] saw several sharks, big creatures, [[/red underline]] swimming around us. They look grayish-yellowish,  swim rather slowly, fin on top of water seem to swim in straight lines 
Some came within a few feet of our rowboat 
This inlet seems to be a good fishing ground Afternoon went out in dinghy with Albert trawling with Evinrude Motor, managed to find shallow inlet to [[ red underline]] Lake Mabel. [[/red underline]] Strong

current in that part of the channel which is narrow and deep. Later towards evening went to look for old inlet of New River near House of Refuge but found it had sanded up and was now situated southerly on the northern side of new inlet made from [[red underline]] Lake Mabel. [[/red underline]] The inlet [[ red underline]] seems to be shifting [[/red underline]] steadily southward and this makes it dangerous to attempt the inlet in stormy weather or without first studying its vagaries by means of a small boat.
Very calm weather towards evening.  When water runs in water becomes blue at entrance of river. Saw [[ red underline]] two big porpoises [[/red underline]] entering towards night with incoming tide near our boat
