Took outside course. Left red nun buoy about 7:55 A.M. and at 1:20 PM arrived before [[red underline]] Cafe Florida [[/red underline]] Lost about 30 min. in correcting our course. Strong NE winds but splendid weather 
So trip took about [[red underline]] 3 hours [[/red underline]] Afterwards anchored in Key Biscayne Bay about 2 miles from Mathesons ^[[black underline]][[Moorish Palace]] [[/black underline]] [[red underline]] new house now in construction [[/red underline]] of Key Biscayne Point. 
Caught several fish rapidly in succession while anchoring near can buoy opposite [[red underline]] Matheson's [[/red underline]] new place. Then went to Cafe Florida for a last swim. Delicious. - Mean time wind increasing to a gale

when we arrived to anchor before Miami Club House. Wind increased during night to a straight Eastern which kept us dancing and in [[strikethrough]] few [[/strikethrough]] wonder whether our anchor would hold.
April 6. [[red underline]] This is my last day in Miami. [[/red underline]] Still quite stormy 
Went to anchor before [[red underline]] Pilkington's Yard in Miami River [[/red underline]] and kept very busy until 4P.M [[strikethrough]] prok [[/strikethrough]] storing away everything 
Left 7:50 P.M. train, Seaboard Air Line. [[red underline]] Albert traveled upper berth in Pullman car [[/red underline]]
April 7 (Sunday) In South Carolina green appears but people wear heavy clothes, and it seems so different from sunny Miami
April 8. Arrived in [[red underline]] Washington [[/red underline]] almost on time - Only one hour's late. Looks still
