caused by some of these slimy elongated masses. Each of them [[red underlined]] seems to have a nucleus of intense luminosity but what is most remarkable [[/red underlined]] is to see how these seemingly [[red underlined]] unorganized gelatinous masses [[/red underlined]], [[strikethrough]] join [[/strikethrough]] seem to be attracted to each other at several feet distance. Is [[red underlined]] this mating? [[/red underlined]] Sometimes two or three luminous points situated at a distance of [[red underlined]] several feet converge together not [[/red underlined]] withstanding the current which [[red underlined]] carries them along [[/red underlined]] to the cut to the [[red underlined]] ocean [[/red underlined]]. Went to bed early. after awhile got awakened by [[red underlined]] violent Northern winds [[/red underlined]] and rain which lasted all night. I feared repeatedly that our anchor might
