[[two red !! in margin]] could not do this [[red underline]] without consent of Condensate Company and of Westinghouse and Continental Fibre Co that there licenses had prior rights and that they might object or ask additional concessions from us which we might find impossible to grant. of the patents and infringement well established or that [[red underline]] otherwise we would not be helped by present suit, [[/red underline]] and other infringers perceiving any weaknesses on our part would crop out etc. [[red underline]] Neave [[/red underline]] then suggested that [[red underline]] Redman should see Kirk Brown of Condensite Co.[[/red underline]] and the men of [[red underline]] Westinghouse [[/red underline]] and explain his case and try to obtain their consent etc. I suggested at about 11 P.M that we go to bed and think it over and in the mean time go on with the trial just the same. This met with general approval and we left in a very friendly spirit.
