May 14. About noon arrived at [[red underline]] Peterson's Yard. [[\red underline]]  Bottom of boat has been painted green but I want it puttied and painted twice.

Spent afternoon inspecting further. [[red underline]] Boat seems in very good condition [[\red underline]] except for deck canvas covering which is cracked and will need repainting and some other minor matters. May 15. Went to N.Y. Rainy unpleasant day.  Went to call on [[red underline]] Griffey [[\red underline]] of [[strikethrough]] Celin [[/strikethrough]] ^[[Energy]] Property administrator .. is not in. Young man in charge does not give competent information.
