Marvelous red colors on foliage, then straight canal thru steep green wooded banks. Everything just as pretty as possible. Tied up on basin [[strikethrough]] before [[/strikethrough]] 
^[[just]] ahead of [[red underline]] Chesapeake City lock, [[/red underline]] along a skow. [[red underline]] Celine [[/red underline]] and I took walk thru town before dark. Quiet restful night
Oct. [[strikethrough]] 14 [[/strikethrough]] 13. Delicious weather, slight fog which cleared afterwards almost no wind water entirely smooth.
