more than we contemplated that the matter at present was to settle the pending patent suits and settle the suits which had been decided in our favor.
Townsend talked along same lines. Then I spoke and showed how a compromise on the present patent suits was only a very imperfect and dangerous palliative to a very complicated and dangerous situation.
