Anchor 3:15 P.M. Remained there over night. Two small motor cruisers anchored about 1/2 mile away. Excellent sleep. The best I have had since many weeks. Jan 22. Up anchor 9.15 A.M. Overcast sky. Northerly breeze. Dropt anchor Booth Bay near Tavernier at 2:45 P.M (34 nautical miles) about 6 knots average. Pleasant run. Went to visit [[red underline]] Portmaster Albury. [[/red underline]] His two brothers there, remembered me and gave me tomatoes and limes. Pleasant meeting fine chaps. Quiet pleasant night. Good sleep.
