Evening dinner with [[underline]] Henry Howard [[/underline]] at University Club invited him to "Engineers Table". [[underline]] General Sheirell gave us some reminiscences [[/underline]] of ^[[his]] recent [[underline]] visits to Europe.

[[underline]] Nov 25. Schleussner called away [[/underline]] all others present at continuous meeting from [[underline]] 10 till 5 P.M. [[/underline]]

The whole family and all the children for dinner also Miss [[underline]] Florence Roll.
Nov 27 [[/underline]] Busy day.  Long talk with Karpen and [[underline]] Redman [[/underline]] on subject of Carters [[underline]] process of hexa [[/underline]] and for resin by means of CH2Cl2.  [[underline]] Karpen [[/underline]] expresses [[underline]] desire to start. [[/underline]] I show them the [[underline]] complications [[/underline]]
