Headed for [[underlined in red]] Cape Sable [[/underlined in red]] thru the direct route passing several narrow cuts thru the shoals. Arrived Cape Sable at 1:30 P.M. Dropt anchor about 1/ mile from shore. Water looks muddy: Went ashore with Catlow, walking along the beach and wading. This shore is [[underlined in red]] uninhabited. [[/underlined in red]] and the stretch before which we anchor shows some thick [[strikethrough]] bo [[/strikethrough]] Mangrove trees, with considerable intervals between them. East and Middle Cape have Coconut plantations. Cool pleasant night
