Took Celine along to let her off on Matheson's Island where she [[strikethrough]] started [[/strikethrough]] painted all afternoon entirely alone and undisturbed. Then at about 4 P.M came to fetch her back. She had made a good sketch of Palms etc she intends to complete at home. Says she was not disturbed by anyone and enjoyed her stay there very much.
While she was there we proceeded to sea over the shoals in blue water. As we had no bait our fishing was not successful. A most beautiful & agreeable day to all of us.  Engine and everything on boat worked perfect
Left our harbor 1:30 P.M. reached Club Hut on Island 2:20 P.M [[strikethrough]] were [[/strikethrough]] passed last Beacon to [[strikethrough]] sea [[/strikethrough]] Ocean 3 P.M. at about 4 P.M returned homewards to pick up Celine and her painting supplies easel etc. Left Club dock of Island at 5:10 P.M. Were tied on our harbor at 6:00 P.M. Everything perfect except the fishing. Celine forgot her raincoat in Club Hut of the Island.

Hitler got a unanimous vote of endorsement in recent German election, where nobody was permitted to vote against him! Quite a simplification to carry out an election by a dictator, - and the German people submit like cattle driven to the slaughter house.
