Perfect weather. This afternoon Celine and myself drove to Scarborough to visit Mr [[red underlined]] Wyman and Nina [[/red underlined]] in the property they had rented. Beautifully situated house overlooking river and covering many acres of wooded land. There are quite a number of rows of grape-vine bearing well and of which [[red underlined]] Wyman wants to make wine, [[/red underlined]] to which I shall assist him with advice.
Met also the children of Wyman, the youngest [[strikethrough]] girl [[/strikethrough]] [[red underline]] Ruth [[/red underline]] about 10, is a [[red underlined]] cheerful girl, her sister about [[/red underlined]] 16 is very studious, so is her tall [[red underlined]] brother who is preparing to enter Cornell. [[/red underlined]] The poor boy however seems pale and sickly.
The whole drive over the new Park way, at this season offers one of the most successful and authentic examples of good landscape architecture amidst natural surroundings.
