Today a man came to repair and adjust the large Radio

This afternoon drove to [[red underline]] Phillip Wymans [[/red underline]] charming home Nina and her youngest daughter [[red underline]] Ninette [[/red underline]] there. - Wyman takes great interest in remodeling and improving his property and does it well and very intelligently. He certainly is a man of high character and great abilities. - Feel happy that this marriage turns out so well. 
[[underline]] July 14. [[/underline]] It being Sunday and I being alone here on this beautiful day. Concluded to visit places where I had not been since many years. So took the trolley car from here at Roberts Ave [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] to its end at [[red underline]] Van Cortland Park. [[/red underline]] The Park was at its best, several football teams going on. - A happy crowd of all nations and ages. [[red underline]] A well behaved set of men and women, [[/red underline]] and cheerful.

Drove back with the trolley car to to Roberts Avenue. There again in this crowded car, admired the excellent behavior of driver and passengers. What a contrast with what is going on today in Europe and other parts of the World. Further bad news from Europe, the [[red underline]] Nazis keeping on bombing England. [[/red underline]] Since many weeks and months have [[red underline]] not received any news from my [[/red underline]] sister nor has Celine of her brother and sisters [[red underline]] Nor do we know where they have [[/red underline]]
