Mr. Henry [[Hirtland?]]

Sir

Allow me to introduce to your favourable regard Mr. Delano who has spend a few weeks here as a portrait painter. He has copied finely a picture of your brother, the Doctor, & has executed some fine pictures here. You will find him gentlemanly in his manners, & amicable in character. He will gratefully acknowledge any patronage you may give him, & any assistance you render him in the prosecution of his art in your place.

Respectfully
Yours
C .A. [[Boaudman?]]
