Bladensburg Md
Nov . 5. 1931

The Bladensburg union held its regular monthly meeting on the above date the President presiding.
The devotionals were conducted by our Chaplain.
After the roll call of Officers by the secretary the Chairman declared the meeting opened for business
Dues was collected to the amt of $44.90 the Treasurer removed the money from the table.
Next in order was the reading of the Minutes of our last meeting. it was moved and properly seconded and so ordered that the Minutes be received and adopted.
The treasurers report was next called for.

The Chairman of sick reported none sick but we had lost one member by death sister Laura since our last meeting. it was moved and duly seconded and so ordered that the report be recd.
There was no report from the board of directors the Chairman being absent.
There being no unfinished business. New business was next in order
A verbal request was made from the American National Red Cross thro sister Broome requesting the union to make a donation to help the unimployed. After considerable discussion it was moved and properly seconded and so ordered that the union pledge $3.00. the secretary was ordered to convey the money to the proper Representative.
No further business it was moved and seconded that we adjourn
dismissed by the Chaplain.

The Bladensburg union was called to order on the above date by the President. Prayer was offered by Bro James Wallace the Chaplain being absent.
The next in order was the roll call of officers After which the President declared the meeting opened for business.
Dues was collected to the amount of $1675 as dues and $200 on applications making $1875 the treas removed the money from the table.
Next in order was the reading of the Minutes of our last meeting. it was moved and duly seconded and so ordered that the Minutes be received and adopted.
There being no report from the Chairman of the sick 
The report from the board of Directors was next in order as follows.

The Board of Directors of the Bladensburg union recommend that the application for membership of Mr Howard Gilbert [accompains?] by $1.00 be submitted to the union for action.
We further state that the Banner has been carefully inspected and a detailed report will be made at the next meeting of the union.
