The Bladensburg union convened in regular session on the above date.
The meeting was called to order by the President Bro Philip Broome.
Our devotionals were conducted by our chaplain sister Carrie Broome.
After the roll call of officers the president declared the meeting opened for business.
1st was the reading of the minutes but by unanimous consent we dispensed with the reading of the minutes for the present and proceeded to collect dues which was as follows total for dues. $2810. Collected for little bricks $8.25. Application money. $3.50. Making $39.85. The treas removed the money from the table.
Next in order was the reading of the minutes of our last meeting.
It was moved and duly seconded that the minutes of our last meeting be received and adopted.
There being no report from the chairman of sick the report from the Board of directors was next called for. The Board recommends Mr. William Brown of Bladensburg and Mrs. Maggie Dorsey of Washington as applicants for membership.
It was moved and duly seconded that the applications be accepted. Vouchers for Mr. Brown CV Broome W.E. Burke & E.B. Brooks. " " " [[ditto for: vouchers for]] Mrs. Dorsey. F.M. Martin. S.P. Ingram The report from the treasurer was made by sister Davis wife of our treasurer. Showing a balance on hand and in the bank $3.020.09.
It was moved and duly seconded that the treasurers report be received.
