More work on Thallium article Ben Lampman called & asked for 3 articles for Oregonian editorial page. 1200 words each. To nursery in evening.
[[underlined]] July 9, 1932 [[/underlined]] More work on Thallium. Took kids fishing for a little while & then in evening helped Clara can raspberries & cherries.
[[underlined]] July 10, 1932 [[/underlined]] To nursery in A.M. Dug a lot for ditch + got good workout. In afternoon helped Clara with canning & wrote 1200 words on the Kangaroo Rat for Oregonian.
[[underlined]] July 11, 1932 [[/underlined]] In office all day straightening out office detail. Sent off first M.S. in months. Some Dainty Garden Jewells - 1500 words - 8 photos. To home for supper and spend evening picking cherries at Spurs place. Stopped to see Prof Dubois on return trip.

Worked in office all day. Tried to do something in Thallium M.S. but continual interruptions made it impossible to accomplish much. In evening helped Clara with the canning and worked some on Thallium.

Worked on Thallium material again. Talked to innumerable people. Wrote two articles for the Oregonian series. Worked on proof reading MS on book until midnight.
[[underlined]] July 14, 1932 [[/underlined]] In office more work on M.S. on Thallium. Many interruptions. In evening worked on MS for book correcting proof until 1 00 PM.
[[underlined]] July 15, 1932 [[/underlined]] Worked on Thallium M.S. and then corrected proof until late evening.
